Acting for Film & Television (All Levels)
Starting on Sunday, April 6, 2025 9:30am - 11:00am Term ends on June 29, 2025 *NO CLASS EASTER WEEKEND* ACTING FOR FILM & TELEVISION with Jennifer Rose Garcia This class welcomes Kids ages 7-9 (all levels of experience) to explore the world of acting for TV/Film in a fun, collaborative setting. Using current and relevant scripts, our students will be equipped with the fundamental tools and confidence to be comfortable in front of the camera when going out for Film/TV auditions here in Vancouver! Miss Jennifer is not only an actress, she is also a certified school teacher, and one of the busiest on-set teachers in the BC Film and TV industry. Tricities Film Studio's reputation for developing young talent has agencies encouraging their clients to train with us In Person and has casting directors reaching out to us for suggestions when casting under age actors. Everyone is welcome! *Weekly attendance is highly recommended.

Advanced On Set Skills *Ages 8-12*
Starting on Sunday, August 10, 2025 12:00pm - 2:00pm 4 Weeks Term ends on August 31, 2025 ADVANCED ON SET SKILLS with Jennifer Rose Garcia Are there skills actors need to learn AFTER we book the job? Yes! This is not your typical acting class. For four weeks, young actors will immerse themselves in a weekly series of hands-on activities to engage in very specific on-set skills including: - Whole story prepwork while filming out of sequence - Blocking for marks and hitting them every time - Understanding camera coverage - Emotional and physical endurance - On-set terms and professionalism while working with other crew members, and more! By the end of the four weeks these young actors will be walking on set with the mental toolkit of a series regular.
