Lisa Durupt

Lisa Durupt is the owner and founder of Tricities Film Studio, a top acting training studio that

serves the lower mainland. In her own words, she built Tricities “one student at a time.”

Meaning: she understands where you, the client, are coming from. It’s not about profit margins

and clout; it’s about believing in what you do and knowing how to execute. Her lifelong passion

and creative talent, which is apparent in her work as an actor, are used to fuel her outstanding

business practices. This has resulted in her students and clients consistently achieving great

results in a very competitive field: Vancouver’s film and television production and education

industry. She understands that the day-to-day systems, when done to the highest standard,

serve to achieve the big picture and long-term goals of your business or organization. When it

Lauren McGibbon

Joining Lisa’s team at Tricities in 2022, Lauren McGibbon’s passion and talent have brought

Tricities into its next phase of expansion. Her work as a professional Improvisor for over two decades makes her an expert on building your team's morale and efficiency with trust, authenticity and fun. Her work as a professional voice coach makes her your best choice in Vancouver’s corporate training field to guide your teammates on how to be clear, constructive and connected when communicating.

Under the tutelage of Iris McGregor Bannerman and her voice program Think. Breath. Speak.

Lauren has taught her brand of voice training at institutions such as Vancouver Film School,

Vancouver Theatresports, and Tricities Film Studio. In the span of mere hours, she has

witnessed actors transform from being so quiet that they seem to have lost the right to speak

to confident, clear, and engaging orators. Lauren has always believed that this work should be

available to all people, and now she’s making that dream a reality with Tricities Corporate

Training.
